Strawberry Protein Baked Oat Bars

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Flax Seed

  • 2 tbsp Peanut Butter

  • 2 tablespoon Agave or maple syrup

  • 1/2 teaspoon, Baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon, Baking powder

  • 1 tsp Strawberry Cream Flavor Boost (optional)

  • 1/2 cup Strawberries

  • 2 cups Rolled oats

  • 4 scoops Vanilla or plain Protein Powder

  • 1 Cup sliced strawberries

Directions

  1. In a small bowl or cup, combine flaxmeal and 1/2 cup of water and set aside. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In a blender, add your oats and blend into a fine powder

  3. Pour the oats into a 9x9 pan and mix in your protein powder, baking powder, baking soda and strawberries flavor boost. Whisk all of these ingredients together.

  4. In the blender, add 1.5 cups of water, strawberries, maple syrup, peanut butter and blend together until smooth.

  5. Pour this mixture into the baking dish with the dry ingredients and mix together until combine. Add in your flaxmeal mixture as well and mix in evenly.

  6. Use a spatula to flatten the top of your oats. Add your sliced strawberries on top in whatever design you’d like. I placed mine in rows across the entire dish.

  7. Put the oats in the oven for 20-30 minutes and then allow to cool for 5-10 minute

  8. Serve immediately or store in your fridge for up to 5 days.
