Red Velvet Baked Oats
Red velvet cake, cupcakes, etc, aka red velvet ANYTHING is my favorite! So being able to make an oats version makes me so happy because now I can have dessert for breakfast but it’s also packed with all the nutrients!
Try out this recipe next time you’re feeling like a morning sweet treat
Ingredients
For oat bake
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup non dairy milk
1/4 cup non dairy yogurt
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 tsp beet root powder (or red food coloring)
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tbsp agave
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp dark chocolate chips
For Frosting
1/4 cup non dairy yogurt
1 tbsp agave or sugar
Directions
Mix all the oats ingredients in a bake safe dish and mix together.
Bake this at 350 for 15 minutes.
In another small bowl, mix together the frosting ingredients.
When the oats are done baking, pour the frosting mixture on top and serve immediately!
